Worldwide coronavirus cases cross 63.33M, death toll at 1,474,650 —Reuters tally

More than 63.33 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 1,474,650 have died, according to a Reuters tally.
   
Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The US leads with 13,536,687 cases and 268,047 deaths.

It was followed by:

• India: 9,462,809 cases and 137,621 deaths
• Brazil: 6,335,878 cases and 173,120 deaths
• Russia: 2,322,056 cases and 40,464 deaths
• France: 2,230,571 cases and 53,506 deaths

The Philippines is 27th on the list with 432,925 cases and 8,418 deaths. —Reuters
