US VP Harris: State legislatures cannot circumvent abortion rights precedent

WASHINGTON - Vice President Kamala Harris, in remarks on Thursday after the Justice Department filed a lawsuit against a Texas abortion law, said no legislative body has the right to circumvent the US Constitution.
