Admit your man crush: Which men do straight guys find hot?

Are you a man who admires another man’s looks or talents? Have you ever idolized another man or at some point wanted to be like him?

Admiring another guy doesn’t necessarily mean you’re gay.  In fact, it’s a sign that a straight guy is secure about his sexuality when he’s comfortable admitting that another man is attractive. A straight guy can have a “man crush” without having romantic feelings about that person.
 

In a recent episode of GMA News TV’s “Best Men,” hosts RJ Ledesma and Jun Veneracion discussed “man crushes” and even revealed their own.
 

Psychologist Dr. Camille Garcia told “Best Men” that it’s normal for straight men to have man-crushes: “Parang babae, humahanga rin naman minsan sa kapwa-babae.”
 

The trick is understanding the fine line between admiration and desire, she said. “Pag ginusto mo na talaga yung tao, ‘yun na ang pagkakaiba,” added Dr. Garcia.

When asked to name their own man crushes, RJ Ledesma chose Gary Valenciano and British writer Neil Gaiman, while Jun V chose Kapuso actor Aljur Abrenica and original Superman actor Christopher Reeve. “Sa S pa lang ng buhok, yun na yun!” he said.

“Best Men” also asked “My Husband’s Lover” leading men Dennis Trillo and Tom Rodriguez about what they find man-crushable about each other.

Dennis on Tom: “He has sharp features – very matipuno.”

Tom on Dennis: “Gusto kong maging Dennis Trillo dahil sa itsura at talent.”
