Analyst Heydarian's take on who will dominate May polls

On Election Day, GMA resident analyst Richard Heydarian said senatorial candidates supported and endorsed by the administration will seem to dominate this midterm polls.

"In this coming elections, mukhang malakas pa din 'yung administration bets, in fact base sa mga huling survey na nakita natin by SWS and Pulse Asia, mukhang eight or nine seats ang makukuha ng administration bets and three for independents and possibly only one for the opposition..." Heydarian said.

Heydarian, however, pointed out that surveys are just "snapshot" of the senatorial race and this may change depending on the votes of Filipinos.

"These are just surveys, snapshot lang ito ng race. Everything could change at 'yung mahalaga today ay 'yung vote natin..." he said.

The recent survey conducted by Pulse Asia showed that reelectionist senators Cynthia Villar (55.95%) and Grace Poe (47.7%) topped the list.

They were followed by Taguig City Representative Pia Cayetano (45%) and former Special Assistant to the President Christopher "Bong" Go (42%)
