Credit cards now accepted by US Citizenship and Immigration Services

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will now accept credit card payments for the 41 fee-based forms processed at USCIS Lockbox facilities, according to a statement on Thursday.

Applicants will need to fill out a Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions, to pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

This form will be destroyed to protect the applicants' credit card information once it is inputted by USCIS into the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Pay.gov system.

Credit card payments have been accepted for naturalization forms since 2015 and for those renewing or replacing their Green Cards.

Versions of all USCIS forms are available for free at uscis.gov/forms.

More information can be found on uscis.gov or their pages on Twitter (@uscis), YouTube (/uscis), and Facebook(/uscis). — MDM, GMA News
