Marcos wants immediate aid for Pinoys in Vancouver attack
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. wants to ensure that all assistance will be given to those Filipinos affected by the festival attack in Vancouver, Canada.
''Opo. Dahil ito po ay kapwa Filipino, minadali po kaagad na matulungan, ibigay po ang lahat ng maaaring maitulong, lahat ng koneksiyon sa mga Filipino na nadamay po dito sa trahedya po sa Vancouver,'' Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro said in a briefing.

The attack left at least 11 people dead. The suspect, a 30-year-old Vancouver resident Kai-Ji Adam Lo, has been charged by authorities on Monday, Manila time.
The Department of Migrant Workers said that it stands ready to provide all the necessary assistance and support to the victims of the incident in line with its mandate to ensure the safety and wellness of overseas Filipino workers.
Marcos had already sympathized with the families of the victims, saying that the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is already working with Canadian authorities to ensure the thorough investigation of the incident.
