More than 780 jobs open in Croatia, says DMW

There are at least 785 jobs available in Croatia through the Government to Government program (G2G) between the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Republic of Croatia.

"The first day of applicant selection and interview was held this October 19, 2026 in Mandaluyong City. There were 943 applicants shortlisted to attend the interview which will be held over two days," the DMW said in a statement.

At least nine hotel employers from Croatia were present during the activity to interview applicants for the positions of hotel staff, chefs, waiters, and housekeeping.

"This recruitment event is proof that there is a high demand for Filipino workers in Europe and that Filipinos are recognized worldwide for their work ethic, excellent service, and dedication," the DMW said.

"Under DMW's G2G program, its goal is to provide a legal, orderly, and safe path for Filipinos who wish to find work in Croatia," it added.

The event was held after the DMW and the Croatian Employment Service (CES) signed implementing guidelines on Monday, October 19, 2026, to establish clear recruitment procedures for overseas Filipino workers seeking employment in Croatia.

"The signing, held in Mandaluyong City during the second batch-year of the DMW-Croatia government-to-government (G2G) recruitment activity, aims to improve coordination between the two governments to facilitate employment opportunities and protect Filipino workers," the DMW said.
