Good day, The plan of LTO (Land Transportation Office) to conduct driving examination for professional driver renewing their license is highly commendable. It is very timely because of the road accidents happened recently not only in Metro Manila but the rest of the Philippines. I hope the political will of those implementing the plan is not what we call “ningas-cogon" or for show only as we are used with some of our leaders. I wrote this email as a sea based OFW to inquire if we are included in the plan since I do have a professional drivers’ license but never drive a public utility vehicles as a way of living. But of course I need the license to drive whenever I’m in the Philippines. Hoping this plan will be successful and will produce positive driving values and ethics among our professional drivers in this beautiful island of the Philippines. Best regards, Bobby J
