Hong Kong police hunting down Pinay for sex chat, HK$3,000 extortion scam

Authorities are tracking down a Filipina who allegedly took pictures of a naked 19-year-old Hong Kong student during cybersex chat before attempting to extort HK$3,000 (P16,355) from him.   According to a report of the news site The Standard on Thursday, the student claimed that during a cybersex chat, the Filipina lured her into stripping naked and making sexually suggestive movements. Then suddenly, the Filipina allegedly said she took pictures of him and would post them online if he did not deposit HK$3,000 into her account.   The teenager said he had a web chat with the Filipina at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday. He said he met the woman in an online chatroom some time ago and had exchanged intimate messages with her.   After the Filipina made the bribe, the teenage boy reported the incident to his family who called the police. Authorities are now tracking down the woman’s location.   The police said a similar incident happened last month where HK$1,000 was extorted from a man in his 20s.   Authorities said they will carry out an investigation to see if the perpetrators are part of an international scam. - VVP, GMA News
