500 Pinoy youths form giant PHL human flag in Rome

Some 500 Filipino youths gathered in front of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Rome to form a human Philippine flag on Earth Day, April 22, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Saturday.   In a news release, the DFA said the activity was a prelude to the 114th Philippine Independence Day celebrations on June 12.   "The activity was meant to gather, unite and get the demographic profiles of the youth of each Filipino community in Rome, including those who do not belong to any community organization," the DFA said.
