Best Pinoy Food? Tweeps share their thoughts

Sinigang, kare-kare, adobo, balut, banana cue, isaw, kwek-kwek, fishball... These were some of the responses of netizens when the Department of Tourism (DOT) asked Filipinos worldwide what they thought was the best Philippine food.   When the DOT asked the question on its Twitter account (@DOTPhilippines), the topic "Best Pinoy Food" became a trending topic worldwide on Thursday.    

This is not the first time that the DOT used the microblogging site in promoting the Philippines.   Early January, the hashtag #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines, the newly launched tourism slogan, became the trending topic worldwide. - VVP, GMA News
