World's top airlines dominated by carriers from Asia, Middle East

Skytrax, the world's largest airline review site, recently revealed the best airlines around the world during the "2012 World Airline Awards" at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) in England. In a news release on its website, Skytrax said the World Airline Awards on July 12 are "regarded as the primary benchmarking tool for Passenger Satisfaction levels of airlines throughout the world. The awards are "based on analysis of business and leisure travellers, across all cabin travel types (First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy class passengers)." Skytrax said the airshow attracts over 120,000 trade visitors from around the world. It described the Farnborough International Airshow as "a platform for some 1,400 exhibitors from the aerospace, defense, space and security sectors to showcase and demonstrate aircraft, equipment and technologies."
