Four-year-old Fil-Czech singing sensation becomes 'boyfriend' of Ellen DeGeneres

Four-year-old Fil-Czech YouTube singing sensation Kai Langer made a comeback to the highly popular "The Ellen Show" in the United States on Wednesday and did something the audience did not expect: he got host Ellen DeGeneres to be his "girlfriend."
 

Wearing a fedora hat like his pop idol Bruno Mars, Kai was interviewed by the comedienne before he sang.

While they were talking, Ellen asked Kai, "What do got in your hand there?"

 

Kai replied, "It's a bracelet for you. And it says my name because I want you always to remember me."

 

Ellen, who is married to actress Portia de Rossi, then continued the banter by asking Kai if accepting the bracelet meant she would become his girlfriend.

 

"And you have a bracelet with my name on your wrist? Oh that's so sweet. Does that mean we're going steady? You're my boyfriend, then, that's what that means, and I'm your girlfriend?" Ellen said.

 

"Yeah. You're my girlfriend," quipped Kai.
 

He proceeded to sing "When I Was Your Man" afterwards, to loud applause.

 

After Kai's performance, Ellen gave him a superhero costume as a gift. On the suit, the words "Super Kai" are seen in front, while "I'm Super Fly" was written at the back.

 

Ellen and Kai then hugged afterwards.

Bruno Mars

 

After Kai's first appearance on The Ellen Show, he actually met Bruno Mars on the plane he took  during his flight back home.

 

Kai proudly described the encounter on the show, and told Ellen that he immediately sang "Grenade" after Bruno Mars told him to "hit it."
 

Kai "captivated" not only Ellen but the people behind the show as well. 

 

"The adorable four-year-old crooner was back to put the moves on our host, and to make everybody in the audience melt. This kid is too adorable!" The Ellen Show said on the description of the video segment where Kai appeared.

 

In a post on its Twitter account, YouTube also posted a comment about Langer's performance.

 

"Four-year-old soul man Kai Langer returns to @TheEllenShow for another adorable Bruno Mars cover," it said.
