Pinoy driver arrested in Riyadh for killing of Saudi sponsor

A Filipino driver was arrested last week for the killing of his Saudi sponsor Sunday, a Saudi news site reported Tuesday. Saudi police spokesman Brig. Nasser Al-Qahtani said the Riyadh police arrested the driver for the crime that took place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Arab News reported. While the Filipino fled from the crime scene after the killing, Al-Qahtani said security officers managed to catch him "within a few hours.” Investigators suspected the Filipino driver due to information that he and the victim were not on good terms.
