DFA suspends consular operations in Metro Manila due to Glenda
Filipinos wanting to apply for a passport on Wednesday may have to postpone their plans after the Department of Foreign Affairs suspended its consular operations in Metro Manila.
In a post on Twitter on Wednesday, the DFA said consular operations at DFA Aseana and satellite offices in Metro Manila are suspended for the day due to Typhoon Glenda (Rammasun).
"DFA suspends consular operations in DFA Aseana & satellite offices in Metro Manila due to typhoon threat," it said.
Glenda battered Metro Manila early Wednesday, though its eye did not directly hit the metropolis.
