US embassy reschedules July 29 visa interviews due to Eidl Fitr

Citing the Philippine holiday Eidl Fitr, the United States Embassy in Manila has rescheduled interviews for non-immigrant visa applicants from July 29 to July 28.

In an announcement on its website and social media accounts, the embassy also advised applicants who cannot make it on July 28 to reschedule their interviews.

"In observance of the Philippine holiday Eid-ul-Fitr on July 29, 2014, interview of applicants scheduled on this day will be moved to Monday, July 28, 2014, at the same interview time," it said.

Applicants who go to the embassy on July 28 must present their original appointment confirmation letter.

On the other hand, those who cannot make it on July 28 should book a new new appointment.

"To reschedule, contact the Embassy call center through the following numbers: (02) 982-5555 and (02) 902-8930, open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday," the embassy said.
