Pinoy among participants in ‘naked sports’ event in Malaysia –report

At least one Filipino may have been among about 15 participants in a "naked sports event" supposedly held in Teluk Bahang in Malaysia recently, a Malaysian news site reported Wednesday.

Police have identified seven Malaysians among the participants of the supposed event, according to a report on Malaysia's The Star Online.

Four were supposedly from Singapore, two from Myanmar, and one each from the Philippines and India, the report quoted Penang police chief Senior Deputy Commissioner Datuk Wira Abdul Rahim Hanafi as saying.

“Nine are male participants while the remaining six are female,” he said, adding police had recorded statements from 10 people to help the probe.

The video of 18 nudists taking part in physical activities, entitled “Penang Nude Sports Games,” was posted on Vimeo and had gone viral, the report noted. —Joel Locsin/KBK, GMA News
