‘X Factor Australia’ winner Marlisa Punzalan eyes PHL visit
Marlisa Punzalan, the 15-year-old Filipina who won in "X Factor Australia," is planning to visit the Philippines, a report from GMA News TV's “Balitanghali” said Friday.
According to the report, Punzalan is thinking of going either this December or in January next year.
Punzalan said that aside from her Filipino fans, she would like to be with her relatives in Samal, Bataan, who she last saw in 2009.
She thanked her fans again for their support and advised aspiring singers to chase their dream and give all they can to make it come true.
Punzalan, daughter of two Filipino immigrants, bested two other contestants to emerge as the winner in the “X Factor Australia” grand finals held last October 20 where she sang “Titanium.”
For the finals, Punzalan competed against Dean Ray and Brothers 3. She was mentored by former Boyzone member Ronan Keating. —Andrei Medina/KBK, GMA News
