Man faces UAE court for sex video blackmail vs. Pinay

A Pakistani driver faced a United Arab Emirates court Monday on charges he filmed a Filipina having sex with his friend, and used the video to blackmail her into having sex with him.

 

But the driver, 36, entered a not guilty plea and denied the allegations before the Dubai Court of First Instance on Monday, Gulf News reported.

 

“I did not molest her or threaten her,” the Gulf News report quoted the man as telling presiding judge Ezzat Abdul Lat.

 

Prosecutors accused the driver of secretly filming the Filipina and his friend have sex last September, then threatening to make the video recording public if the Filipina refused to have sex with him.

 

Also, prosecutors claimed the driver molested the woman by kissing her and groping her after he filmed her naked.

 

The Filipina, 27, told prosecutors the driver's friend picked her up from Sharjah and took her to his residence in Al Ghusais.

 

She said he hugged and kissed her for a while, then the suspect emerged from a room and pushed her partner away and slapped him.

 

"I covered myself with my clothes while (the suspect) kissed me and asked to have sex with me. I refused. Then he groped me...when I tried to move away, he claimed that he had filmed me secretly (and) claimed that if I refused to have sex with him, he would publish my nude photos," she said.

 

She said she promised to meet him the next day, then he dropped her home.

 

"The next day I did not answer his persistent calls. He sent me two messages saying [ok] and [done]. I felt scared and reported the matter to the police,” she said.

 

The suspect's lawyer asked presiding judge Abdul Lat to adjourn the case until the Filipina produces her defense on February 23.

 

A separate report on Khaleej Times said that when the woman feared the suspect would make the video public, she filed a complaint at Al Rashidiya police station.
