OFW in Qatar disguises as a waiter to surprise his kids in PHL
An OFW pretended to be a waiter to surprise his children after returning home from Qatar where he worked as an electrician, GMA News' Victoria Tulad reported on Unang Balita on Thursday.
Before their tearful reunion in Batangas City, Mario Sayson had not seen his family for a long time.
The reunion was caught on video by Sayson's wife Shell and was posted on social media where it immediately became viral.
The video showed the couple's children Princess Hart and Nash happily waiting for their orders. They did not immediately recognize their father who was serving them, as his face was covered.
When Mario removed the cover and returned to the table, Princess was shocked and was not able to hold back her tears. Nash was likewise surprised to the point of tears.
Sayson said he was also in tears when he approached the table as he missed his family.
—Jamil Santos/KBK, GMA News
