Pinoys target world records as they join observance of UAE national day

Filipinos in Dubai are gunning for three world records in different categories as they gathered in a gesture of solidarity with people of the United Arab Emirates for the Arabian nation's National Day.

Some 3,000 Pinoys gathered early on December 2 for the seafood festival held at the Dubai Waterfront and aimed to get Guinness World Record in biggest number of participants to a boodle fight, largest number of flag-waving humans, and most number of participants in a glow-stick event.

Pinoy expats in the UAE trooped to Dubai wearing the colors of the nation's flag—black, green and red —in a demonstration of solidarity for the country's national day. —LBG, GMA News
