Another Pinay murdered by American husband in Texas

Another Filipina was reported killed by her American husband in Texas, following the murder of Alyssa Mejia-Rogers, whose body was discovered inside a freezer after she was killed also by her husband.

GMA News' TV's "Balitanghali" reported on Saturday that Jacqueline Rose Nicholas was shot dead by her husband Peter Nicholas III in a Texas hotel.

She was lifeless by the time police arrived and the suspect's clothes were found bloody.

Texas cops were quoted as saying that the suspect resisted arrest and tried to escape, but he was eventually arrested and brought to the hospital, the report said.

Nicholas was allegedly under the influence of illegal drugs during the crime and is now facing murder charges.

Prior to the Nicholas couple incident, a Filipina was killed by her American husband, also in Texas.

Alyssa Marie Mejia-Rogers' body was discovered in the freezer in her husband's house.
