DFA: 3 more Pinoys abroad get COVID-19
The Department of Foreign Affairs on Thursday reported three new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) among Filipinos overseas, raising the total tally to 18,008.
The DFA said no new fatalities and recoveries were reported. Total recoveries remained at 11,042, while the death toll was at 1,113.
So far, there are 5,853 active cases undergoing treatment.

The Middle East/Africa remained to be the region with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad at 10,420 with 730 deaths and 5,863 recoveries.
The Asia Pacific Region followed with 3,374 infections including 26 fatalities and 2,312 recoveries.
In Europe, a total of 3,299 Filipinos were infected with the virus. Of the number, 130 have died, while 2,264 have recovered.
The Americas, meanwhile, has recorded 915 cases with 227 fatalities and 603 recoveries.—AOL, GMA News
