Consular ops suspended on Nov. 1 for Undas —DFA

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Friday announced that its Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana in Parañaque City and all Consular Offices (COs) nationwide will be closed on Monday, November 1, 2021, in observance of All Saints Day.

Passport, authentication, and other consular services will resume on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, it said in an advisory.

DFA advised the public that schedules may be subject to sudden changes due to unforeseen circumstances or implemented policies of local government units and establishments that host the DFA Consular Offices.

The DFA also said the number of people allowed inside COs at any given moment is limited in accordance with the COVID-19 social distancing measures that the government has prescribed.

Applicants attending any of the Department's COs will be subjected to a temperature check prior to admission. They will be required to wear a mask and a face shield while inside the CO premises and adhere to any other public health precautions in place. —Sherylin Untalan/KBK, GMA News
