Suspect charged in killing of Filipino mother and daughter in US
NEW YORK - A 17-year-old male who allegedly killed a Filipino mother and her daughter in Pennsylvania, the United States, has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide.
No bail has been set for the suspect, John Derwin Bradley, who is accused of the murders of Rosalyn Siobal Glass and her 16-year-old daughter, Rianna Lynn.
According to court records, the suspect and Rianna Lynn were formerly in a romantic relationship, but the victim had recently broken up with him, which the suspect reportedly couldn't accept.
Last week, the suspect allegedly visited the victims' home and had a conversation with Rianna Lynn. She even sent a text message to a friend, expressing her discomfort with the suspect's presence in their home.
The following day, the lifeless bodies of the victims were discovered, both bearing stab wounds.
Surveillance cameras captured the suspect, along with a 14-year-old girl, who reportedly stole the victims' car.
However, both of them were involved in an accident, and the police found a bloodied knife at the scene, believed to be the murder weapon used by the suspect.
Digital forensic evidence also confirmed the suspect's presence at the victims' residence and the Bluetooth connection of the suspect's cellphone to the victims' car.
