The report did not disclose the name of the 49-year-old OFW, whose remains arrived from Israel before 4 p.m.
''The female was one of four OFWs confirmed killed at the onset of the Hamas terrorist attacks in southern Israel on October 7, 2023. She refused to leave her patient, an elderly Israeli citizen, when Hamas fighters rampaged through their kibbutz and peppered their shelter with ammunition fire,'' the Department of Migrant Workers said in a statement.
Her remains will be flown from Manila to her home province of Negros Occidental on Sunday. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
