The remains of a Filipino who died amid the attacks of the Hamas group in Israel arrived in the Philippines this weekend.

According to a "24 Oras Weekend" report, the family of Loreta Alacre was emotional when they met her remains at the Bacolod-Silay Airport.

They were saddened even more when they saw Loreta's appearance.

Her remains will be transported to their house on Monday.

De Vega also said the remains of Alacre underwent DNA testing to confirm her identity.
