22 OFWs on MV Transworld Navigator repatriated —OWWA
The 22 Filipino seafarers on board the Houthi-hit MV Transworld Navigator have returned to the country.
According to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, the second batch of repatriates arrived with ten seafarers on Tuesday evening, while the third batch returned with twelve seafarers on Wednesday morning.
The repatriates were welcomed by officials of the Department of Migrant Workers and OWWA upon their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
"Napakalaking biyaya na po lalo na po sa amin na makita kayong ligtas," said OWWA Deputy Administrator Attorney Mary Melanie Quiño.

All repatriates will be given financial assistance from different government agencies, according to OWWA.
Along with the first batch of repatriates with five seafarers last June 30, all Filipinos on board the MV Transworld Navigator have already beein repatriated. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
