PH to be featured in Al Khobar cultural showcase

Filipino-run content platform Happy Sandscapes will be participating in the “Passport to the World” event organized by KSA’s General Entertainment Authority in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement from the Filipino creative, the four-day showcase will display Philippine culture through performances, traditional cuisine, and special celebrity guests as a “homegrown experience” for overseas Filipino workers in Saudi Arabia.

Among the guests are Filipino creatives, vloggers and social influencers, including Happy Sandscapes, Dave Navarro, Geraldo Hunter, Bob Sawyer, Kabayan Hart, Sus Maryosep, and Mr. Rey.

“With immersive booths, world-class entertainment, and a passport to four nations — all without leaving Khobar — this event is a must-visit for families, culture lovers, and overseas Filipinos seeking a taste of home,” the statement read.

Aside from the Philippines, the event will also feature cultural showcases from Sudan, India and Bangladesh.

The Philippine Showcase will be held from April 23 to 26, 2025.

Interested attendees may avail entrance tickets through Webook, with a VIP option for SAR 100.
