President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Monday met Filipinos from the Middle East, who were repatriated to the country amid the ongoing tension in the said region.
A total of 343 passengers were on board the charter plane, including 317 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and 26 dependents.
They were repatriated from various parts of the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain.

The OFWs will be provided with financial aid, medical support, and reintegration services to ensure their welfare as they return to the country.
The government, through the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), has been actively repatriating OFWs from the Middle East amid security concerns in the region.
Since the beginning of this month, thousands of OFWs have already been safely brought home, while many are still seeking repatriation assistance.
Despite the tension in the region, DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said there is no deployment ban for OFWs in the Middle East. —KG, GMA Integrated News
