163 Filipinos take May 2026 special licensure exams in Singapore
A total of 163 Filipino examinees took the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) in Singapore from May 29 to 31, 2026, allowing them to take board exams without going back to the Philippines.
In a social media post on Thursday, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore said the May 2026 SPLE in the city-state was conducted at the HFSE International School by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in coordination with the Migrant Workers Office-Singapore.
The embassy said the licensure examinations in Singapore were for 17 professions, namely:
- Architect
- Certified Plant Mechanic
- Chemical Engineer
- Civil Engineer
- Electronics Engineer
- Electronics Technician
- Master Plumber
- Mechanical Engineer
- Midwife
- Nurse
- Professional teachers (elementary and secondary)
- Psychometrician
- Radiologic Technologist
- Real Estate Appraiser
- Registered Electrical Engineer
- Registered Master Electrician
- Veterinarian
The three-day SPLE was also simultaneously conducted in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
A total of 32 licensure exams were administered in the three countries, according to PRC Resolution No. 2190, series of 2026.
In its statement, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore said it "extends its best wishes to all kababayans who took the 2026 SPLE."
Meanwhile, the PRC announced the target dates for the release of the May 2026 SPLE results for overseas Filipinos.
