OFW who tested positive for COVID-19 in Hong Kong now in 'stable condition’

The Filipina migrant worker who tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is now in "normal and stable condition," the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong said on Wednesday evening.

Doctors said that the OFW can be discharged if the succeeding tests showed negative results for the China virus.

The Consul General asked members of the public to refrain from disclosing the worker's identity and to respect her privacy.

In the statement, the Consul General also urged to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and fake news about the COVID-19 outbreak.
