Third Filipino in Hong Kong contracts COVID-19

The Consulate General, quoting information forwarded by the Hong Kong Health Department, on Wednesday announced that a third Filipino has tested positive for the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The patient, a woman, is in isolation and currently undergoing tests.

The Consulate General also said the patient, who requested not to be identified, said she is healthy and is not exhibiting any symptoms.

She is the third Filipino to have tested positive in Hong Kong.

The first two patients have recovered but are still in the hospital for further tests.

The Consulate General is in touch with the three Filipinos and stands ready to render all necessary assistance to them. — BAP, GMA News
