2 more Pinoys test positive for COVID-19 in Singapore; total now 9


Two more Filipinos tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Singapore, bringing the total number of Filipino infections in the city-state to nine.

The Singapore Ministry of Health identified the two newest Filipino patients as Cases 205 and 211.

Case 205 is a 30-year-old female Singapore Long Term Visit Pass holder who was in the Philippines from February 27 to March 6.

She is currently admitted at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).

Case 211 is a 35-year-old female linked to an earlier confirmed COVID-19 case in Singapore.

She is also confined at the NCID.

According to the latest data from the Philippines’ Department of Health, only one Filipino COVID-19 case in Singapore has recovered from the disease. — RSJ, GMA News
