DFA: Two Filipinos abroad die due to COVID-19

Two Filipinos abroad have died due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Department of Foreign Affairs said.

In an update on Tuesday, DFA said the fatalities were reported in Asia Pacific Region and Europe.

DFA said there were 169 confirmed cases of Filipinos abroad infected with COVID-19. Most were from Asia Pacific Region with 111 reported cases while 20 cases each were reported in Europe and America and 18 in the Middle East.

Of the number, 90 have recovered or been discharged while 77 are still undergoing treatment.

A total of 25 countries and regions have reported cases of Filipinos with COVID-19 in their respective territories, the DFA said.—AOL, GMA News
