Filipinos abroad with COVID-19 at 5,369 with 13 new recoveries

Eight more Filipinos abroad tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 5,369 as of Saturday-June 6, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Meanwhile, total recoveries rose to 2,225 with 13 new cases while the death toll increased to 363 with two new deaths.
Patients undergoing treatment decreased to 2,781.

In the Asia-Pacific Region, total recoveries and fatalities remained at 364 and two, respectively, while patients undergoing treatment increased to 155.
Meanwhile, the death toll in the Middle East or Africa increased to 118 with two new fatalities while recoveries remained at 1,324. Patients undergoing treatment increased to 1,907.
In Europe, total recoveries increased by one to 293 while fatalities remained at 91. Patients undergoing treatment decreased to 454.
The number of total recoveries in the Americas jumped to 244 while fatalities remained at 152 and patients undergoing treatment decreased to 265. — DVM, GMA News
