126 more Filipinos abroad test positive for COVID-19 —DFA
A total of 126 more Filipinos abroad on Friday tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 18,134, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The DFA also announced that total recoveries climbed to 11,142 with 100 new ones while two new fatalities brought the total to 1,115.
At present, there are 5,877 patients still undergoing treatment.

Data from the DFA showed a total of 3,462 cases in Asia and the Pacific region with 1,051 patients undergoing treatment. The region has reported 2,385 recoveries and 26 fatalities.
The Middle East or Africa has also reported 10,421 cases with 3,828 patients undergoing treatment. A total of 5,863 patients in the region have recovered while 730 have succumbed to the illness.
Meanwhile, a total of 3,332 Filipinos also tested positive for COVID-19 in Europe with 911 patients still undergoing treatment. Recoveries and fatalities were recorded at 2,291 and 130, respectively.
In the Americas, a total of 919 cases were recorded. Of this 87 are still undergoing treatment, 603 have recovered, and 229 have died.—LDF, GMA News
