DFA: 102 more Filipinos abroad tested positive for COVID-19
A total of 102 more Filipinos abroad on Friday have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 19,876, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The DFA also announced that total recoveries climbed to 12,053 after nine more recovered from the illness while the death toll remained at 1,194.
Meanwhile, there are 6,629 patients still undergoing treatment.

Data from the DFA showed a total of 4,020 cases in Asia and the Pacific Region with 1,316 patients still undergoing treatment. Recoveries and fatalities in the region were recorded at 2,671 and 33, respectively.
Meanwhile, 11,350 Filipinos have tested positive in the Middle East or Africa — 4,268 are active cases, 6,293 have recovered, and 789 have died.
Europe has also reported 3,522 confirmed cases with 930 patients undergoing treatment. The region has recorded 2,462 recoveries and 130 fatalities.
In the Americas, a total of 984 Filipinos have tested positive with 115 active cases. A total of 627 patients have recovered while 242 have succumbed to the illness. — RSJ, GMA News
