San Antonio Spurs honor 103-year-old Pinoy WWII veteran
A 103-year-old Filipino World War II veteran was the guest of honor at the San Antonio Spurs' game against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
Liban Brillantes was presented with a custom jersey during the team's military appreciation night ceremony.

Liban, who wore a barong tagalog for the occasion, joined the Army's 121st infantry division when he was 19.
World War II broke out shortly after his training, and he ended up fighting against the Japanese Occupation. He served in the secret intelligence unit, transporting messages between the American and Filipino governments. —JST, GMA News
