Creatures that slither take center stage on Born to be Wild this Sunday.
 

Doc Nielsen Donato encounters a community where residents fear a snake called “udto-udto”.  “Udto” means “afternoon” in the local language and residents believe that the animal is more potent during this time of the day.  But after Doc Nielsen encounters the snake itself, he realizes that this is a non-venomous species that can actually help the community deal with another dreaded pest: rats.



 

Doc Ferds Recio gets to know small but terrible creatures that suck blood from their host: leeches!  But did you know that leeches also have medicinal powers?
