'Vets on Call,' this Sunday on 'Born to be Wild'

BORN TO BE WILD presents “VETS ON CALL”

When they aren’t treating or documenting wildlife out at sea or in the mountains, Doc Ferds Recio and Doc Nielsen Donato often answer calls to help companion animals like dogs and cats. This Sunday, we follow Doc Ferds Recio as he responds to clinical cases in Manila, while Doc Nielsen Donato makes house calls in Camiguin Norte.

In a quiet Northern town, Doc Nielsen Donato encounters cases of animals with a dreaded virus: distemper. Distemper can prove fatal to dogs and some of the residents’ pets have been showing signs of the virus. Doc Nielsen checks on these animals.
