BORN TO BE WILD
August 26, 2018

A seven-year-old Filipina-Italian swimmer recently died while on vacation with her family in Caramoan Islands. The girl accidentally came into contact with a box jellyfish, one of the deadliest creatures in the sea. Doc Ferds travels to Caramoan to document the dangers of the box jellyfish and to see what precautions have been put in place to prevent further accidents. While there, Doc Ferds and his team see a group of tourists swimming near the shore. Not far off, there is a box jellyfish that could potentially harm the unsuspecting tourists. The deadly jellyfish is then taken out of the water and away from the swimmers’ path.
Meanwhile, Doc Nielsen performs a medical examination on the biggest saltwater crocodile in captivity in Negros Occidental. The croc called Bong came from a croc farm in Negros. Because of the croc’s aggressive behavior, the farm turned the animal over to a rescue facility. Bong needs to undergo a blood test to check if he is still in good condition. To do this, at least ten people would have to restrain him. The results of the blood exam prove useful for further care of the animal.
