LDFG vs. Robotika

Episode on August 23, 2008 Saturday, 9:30 a.m. Kid inventors Do you want to learn how to use the computer? Join host Bea Binene as she visits Mater Dolorosa Parish, a center in Makati where less fortunate children are taught how to use computers! Kids without access to computers learn the basics of picture editing and webpage making in this community project of Intel Computer Clubhouse. Bea also meets talented students from the Philippine Science High School who invented a device that can help people in times of danger! Made out of scrap metal, the kids were able to produce the Micro-Tremor Device, an instrument that can detect the smallest ground vibrations! The Micro-Tremor Device is used to test the strength of a building in the event of an earthquake. Because of their innovative minds, the student inventors were given the Distinguished Achievement Award in the 2008 Intel International Science & Engineering Fair in Atlanta, Georgia! Robots Meanwhile, Host Jacob Raterta goes to the Wall-E Recyclables Making Contest and meets talented kids who use their creative minds to build recycled robots! This is a citywide competition that promotes awareness on recycling and also helps sharpen the imagination of the student contestants. Jacob also meets Enrique Dekasyer, a robot collector whose collection has reached more than 150 robots! Enrique started collecting toy robots three years ago, and his collection now includes the world famous cartoon robot characters like Voltes V, Daimos and Voltron! Enrique also shows Jacob one of his prized possessions, an 18-karat gold plated robot called Gold Lightan! LDFG vs. Robotika Robotika, a sexy cyborg from the future, visits the present world with one mission: to seek and destroy Jacob! In the year 2028, Jacob becomes the Commander of the Air Force Fleet who will defend the earth from the Evil Cyborg Empire. To prevent this from happening, Robotika travels through time and tries to eliminate Jacob! How will the LD Force’s powers match Robotika’s Cyborg Strength & Laser Eye Beams? Will they be able to save Jacob from this inevitable danger?

Samahan si Bea Binene sa pagbisita sa Mater Dolorosa Parish sa Makati kung saan puwedeng kalikutin ang computer ng mga batang hindi marunong gumamit nito! Isa itong proyekto ng Intel Computer Clubhouse para turuan ang mga bata kung paano mag-edit ng pictures at magdisenyo ng sariling webpage! Ang talino at imahinasyon ng mga bata, hindi lang sa paggamit ng computer naipapakita kundi sa paggawa rin ng mga kahanga-hangang inventions! Makikilala ni Bea ang ilang estudyante ng Philippine Science High School na nag-imbento ng sarili nilang Micro-Tremor Device, isang instrumento na kayang mag-record ng pinakamaliit na vibration o paggalaw ng lupa. Makatutulong ito para masukat ang tibay ng mga building sa oras na tamaan ito ng lindol! Nanalo pa ito sa Intel International Science & Engineering Fair sa Atlanta, Georgia ng Distinguished Achievement Award! Robots Sa Science and Discovery Center naman ng Mall of Asia, magtatagisan ng galing ang mga tsikiting sa paggawa ng mga robot gamit ang recycled materials: ang Wall-E Recyclables Making Contest! Makikita ni Jacob Raterta ang mga nakaaliw na robots na gawa sa pinagsama-samang blender, mineral water bottles at TV monitor! Makikilala rin ni Jacob si Enrique Dekasyer, isang robot collector. Mula pa noong 2005, mahigit 150 robots na ang nakolekta niya! Kabilang rito ang mga kilalang robots na sina Voltes V, Daimos, at Voltron! Ipapakita rin niya kay Jacob ang 18-karat gold plated robot niya na si Gold Lightan! LDFG vs. Robotika Samantala si Robotika, isang futuristic Cyborg mula sa Evil Cyborg Empire, ang magla-landing sa ating mundo. Ang misyon niya: hanapin at durugin si Jacob! Sa taong 2028 kasi, magiging Commander ng Air Force Fleet si Jacob na hahadlang sa misyon ng Evil Cyborg Empire para sakupin ang mundo! Ngayon pa lang, susubukan na ni Robotika pigilan ang paglaki ng ating kapuwersa! Paano kaya matatalo ng LD Force ang Cyborg Strength at Laser Eye Beams ni Robotika? Paano kaya nila maililigtas si Jacob mula sa tiyak na kapahamakan?
