The Geraldine Palma Story

Episode on December 11, 2008 Thursday night after Saksi August 16, 2007… a luggage bag was found floating in the waters of North Harbor in Tondo, Manila. Chucked inside the suitcase was the bloated body of a little girl, believed to be the remains of 7-year old Geraldine Palma. Geraldine went missing five days before the bag’s discovery. She was allegedly kidnapped by her nanny, Maritess Ontog. More than a year after her senseless death, nothing has come up that would lead to the suspects of the crime. Case Unclosed retells Geraldine’s story this Thursday and re-examines the reasons why Geraldine’s case has not moved forward up to this date. There’s an allegation that the body found inside the suitcase was not of Geraldine Palma. Case Unclosed talks to witnesses, the police and the NBI to hear the different versions of the story. Was Geraldine really raped before she was murdered? Who were the suspected perpetrators to this gruesome crime? Kara David talks to Geraldine’s father Gerald Palma, who shares his version of the story on how his daughter was abducted on the day of March 11, 2007. Meanwhile, mother Felma Estravela still laments over the death of her child and hopes that justice will be given to them soon.
