The Feast of Sto. Nino and STD

Episode on January 23, 2009 Friday night after Saksi A bloody celebration Every third weekend of January, the people of Tondo celebrate the Feast of Sto. Nino. Every year, in the midst of the festivity, different cases of violence and injuries arise - mostly due to drinking sprees. On the first day of the feast, the big statue of Sto. Nino fell on a three year old girl during a procession. She died instantly of a fractured skull. Meanwhile, a man was gunned down on the same day. In a nearby hospital, many were rushed mostly due to stab wounds and cuts. A couple lost consciousness because they had too much to drink. Arnold Clavio goes back to his hometown to investigate the safety of the much-awaited celebration of the people of Tondo. STDs Sexually transmitted diseases are acquired through sex. However, a 21-year-old man claims that he got the disease from using the personal things of his friend who has STD. 12 year old "Geraldine" believes that she got STD from her own mother. Madugong selebrasyon Noong nakaraang Sabado at Linggo, ipinadiwang sa Tondo ang piyesta ng Sto. Nino. At sa gitna ng kasiyahan, hindi nawalan ng insidente ng karahasan. Sa unang araw pa lang ng pista, isang bata na ang nadaganan ng marmol na poon at binawian ng buhay. Isang lalaki naman ang nabaril sa gitna ng ingay ng prusisyon. Madami rin ang isinugod sa ospital dahil sa saksak at bugbog. Karamihan sa mga ito ay biktima ng mga away-lasing. Samahan si Arnold Clavio sa kaniyang pagbabalik sa kaniyang kinalakihang lugar para makipagdiwang at suriin ang kaligtasan sa gitna ng madugong selebrasyon. Nahawaan ng STD Madalas nakukuha ang iba't ibang uri ng Sexually Transmitted Diseases o STD sa pakikipagtalik. Pero ang 21 taong gulang na lalaking nakilala ng Emergency, nahawa raw ng STD sa paggamit ng personal na bagay ng kabarkada niyang may tulo. Ang labing dalawang taong gulang na si "Geraldine," naniniwalang nahawa naman siya sa kaniyang inang may STD. Posible nga kayang mahawa ng STD nang hindi nakikipagtalik?
