"Jabidah"


Episode on February 26, 2009 Thursday night after Saksi More than a hundred men… Brought to the southern part of the Philippines to be secretly trained in guerrilla tactics… The year was 1967 and their mission was to infiltrate and invade Sabah, Malaysia. But early in the morning of March 18, 1968, something happened. Join Kara David relive what has been dubbed as the Jabidah Massacre, the horrific incident said to have reawakened the Bangsamoro people and provided the spark for the formation of the Moro National Liberation Front. Listen to Jibin Arula, the lone survivor of the massacre, recount how he was able to escape and tell the world his story. Based on his account, journey to the past in a dramatization of events under the helm of indie filmmaker Onin Tagaro. Mahigit isang daang kalalakihan… Dinala sa katimugang bahagi ng Pilipinas para sanayin sa pakikipaglaban… Taong 1967 noon at ang kanilang misyon ay pasukin at sakupin ang Sabah, Malaysia. Pero noong madaling araw ng March 18, 1968, may masamang nangyari. Samahan si Kara David na magbalik-tanaw sa tinaguriang Jabidah Massacre, ang insidenteng sinasabing gumising sa mga Bangsamoro at naging mitsa ng pagkakabuo ng Moro National Liberation Front.
