Episode on May 30, 2009 Saturday, 10 a.m. This Saturday, Ka-Blog presents a bunch of Pinoy teenagers who put a new and deeper meaning to the phrase “teen life." Ka-Blog Lucky Mark Mercado meets Zorren and Allan, two teen boxers who dream of becoming the next Manny Pacquiao. Despite their young age, they left their hometown provinces to make a living out of boxing here in Manila. Zorren and Allan undergo rigorous training everyday to prepare themselves for upcoming bouts, but they also have to work as helpers in the boxing gym to pay for their training. Lucky follows them in one of their workouts and checks if these teen boxers are ready to rumble in their fight against life’s hardships. The Oskaleros Gang of Pasay City used to be the black sheeps of their community… but not anymore! Ka-Blog Andrea Torres discovers that these bad boys have changed lanes and made a big u-turn in their lives!. Gone are the days when they start riots and use illegal drugs. Now, they kick off community projects and promote peace in their neighborhood through dancing! They have formed a dance crew and now recruit kids to join their troop. Who would have thought that even bad guys could transform into good cops? Teens always find it difficult to express themselves, but not for the members of the Purple Empire Kru! With spray paints in their hands, these teens use the blank walls in the city as canvas to create their works of art. Graffiti painting may be too deviant for most people, but to these kids, it’s just their way of self-expression. Ka-Blog Monica Verallo joins the group in one of their painting sessions and finds out if graffiti should really be considered an artform or just plain vandalism. Lastly, Ka-Blog Mico Aytona meets the Tres Marias, three teenage girls who work as mussel divers/cleaners in the Navotas Fish Port. At their early age, Charisse, Mitch and Baby are already exposed to hard labor, bearing the heavy responsibility to provide for their families’ needs. Mico personally experiences the difficulties that these mussel divers face as he joins the Tres Marias and dives for mussels in the murky waters of Manila Bay. Iba’t ibang mukha ng kabataan ang makikilala natin sa Ka-Blog ngayong Sabado, mga mukha ng kabataang Pinoy na talagang to the highest level ang galing! Si Ka-Blog Lucky Mercado mana-knockout sa galing ng double combination ng dalawang teen boxers na nakilala niya! Sina Zorren, 15 years old at Allan, 17 years old, parehong galing pang malayong probinsiya, lumuwas sa Maynila para makipagsapalaran sa larangan ng boxing. Inaasahan nilang maiaahon ang pamilya sa hirap sa pamamagitan nito, kaya araw-araw dumadaan sila sa matinding training. Dagdag pa rito ang trabaho nilang maglinis at mag-ayos ng boxing gym. Manalo kaya sa suntok ng buhay sina Zorren at Allan? Nakilala naman ni Ka-Blog Andrea Torres ang grupong Oskaleros ng Pasay, mga kabataang dating mga adik, basagulero at bulakbol. Pero ngayon, hindi na sila sakit ng ulo ng community! BBB na sila ngayon: BAD BOYS turned BETTER na ang grupo! Marami silang sinalihang proyekto ng barangay at isa na rito ang pagre-recruit ng mga kabataan na sumali sa kanilang Dance Crew. Humahataw sila ngayon sa pagbabagong buhay! Ibang trip ba ang gusto nyo ngayong Sabado? Samahan si Ka-Blog Monica Verallo na kilalanin ang grupo ng kabataang iba ang trip sa buhay. Trip nilang mag-spray sa mga pader! Pero hindi ito vandalism mga Ka-blog, dahil ang pagpipinta nila sa mga pader, artwork! Ang mga miyembro ng grupong Purple Empire Kru, spray lang ng spray sa mga walls para ma-express ang kanilang mga sarili sa graffiti. Ano bang meron sa pagdo-drowing sa kalye at nakahiligan nila itong gawin!? Araw,araw, makikita sa Navotas Fishport ang Tres Marias, tatlong batang babae na nasadlak sa hirap ng buhay. Sina Charisse, Mitch at Baby , hindi pa man lubusang nagdadalaga, nagtatrabaho na bilang mga magtatahong, maagang nasanay ang mga murang katawan sa pagbabanat ng buto. Pero hindi lang pala sa palengke natatapos ang kanilang trabaho, pumapalaot din ang ating mga Ka-Blog para manisid ng tahong. Gaano ba kahirap ang buhay ng mga batang magtatahong? Aalamin iyan ni Ka-Blog Mico Aytona. Kakaibang adventure ang susuungin ng ating mga Ka-Blog, isang adventure na tiyak marami silang matututunan at magpapabago ng kanilang mga pananaw sa buhay.
