‘Fashbook’ dressing tips for busty women
There are some fashion problems that only busty women understand. For one, you cannot wear button down shirts or people would always ask you if your back hurts with a smirk on their faces. Being blessed with a large bosom can be tough also because it can be difficult to know which clothes to wear to dress your bust without looking too sexy.
But having big boobs doesn’t mean you can’t feel comfortable, supported and look fashionably great. The following are some of the styling tips and secrets to cover up or conceal your huge bosom.
1. V-necks are your bestfriend.

Try to find the perfect balance between showing too much and hiding your assets. Search for the right v-neck tee for you, and get in in every color. These necklines will make your boobs look smaller because they allow an open expanse of your skin between your neck and your breasts. The perfect v-neck tee would be something that's low cut and adequately loose.
2. It’s in the material!
When we go shopping, we usually don’t pay much attention to the kind of fabric that we buy unless we find it uncomfortable and itchy. But for busty women, wearing the right fabric is actually very important because certain ones compliment your breasts while others make them look bigger. Try to avoid satin and velvet and look for cotton, jersey, cashmere or other soft fabrics.
3. High necklines are a no-no.

This is imperative for busty women! Wearing such clothes and dresses will not only make your bust appear like they start from under your chin, they can also lead to the appearance of a ‘uni-boob’. But if you must wear high necklines such as crew or turtle neck due to the cold weather, make sure to pick an item with a soft fabric or layer over your high neckline with a jacket or a blazer.
4. A trick from up your sleeve.

This is important: the length of your sleeve can spell a huge difference when it comes to the appearance of your bosom. If you’re a lass with big breasts, choose clothing with three-quarter sleeves rather short or sleeveless ones because these are generally make you look slimmer.
5. Get the right jacket.

Another fashion tip for busty women is getting the right jacket for you. They may be hard to find unless you know what to look for. Opt for a jacket that is close-fitting and streamlined and one that’s nipped in at the waist rather than boxy or bomber jackets.
6. Balance it with a bag.

Women with big boobs should try to shun bags with short handles because they typically finish right around your chest area. Distract attention from your busts by choosing bags with long handles. Also, small or compact bags will only emphasize your busts. Women with large breasts should opt for medium to large sized handbags as they fashion a sense of balance.
7. Choose the right accessories!

So, how do you accessorize a large bust? The most obvious method is wearing a necklace. Always remember that three H's to wearing a necklace: hit, hook, and hang. First, the necklace must not hit right at your bustline. You should be wary of necklaces and other accessories that hook your boobs. And never wear a necklace that hangs off your bustline.
8. Learn the ‘dark’ magic.

Wearing dark colored clothing is usually more slimming than light colored clothing. Apply this principle to your OOTD by wearing darker colors on your top half as they can reduce the appearance of your breasts. You can add in light or bright colors into the bottom half of your outfit or in the form of accessories.
9. Illusion of the stripes

Avoid wearing clothing with horizontal stripes as they can have a widening effect which doesn’t really flatter your already large busts. Instead, opt for vertical or diagonal stripes. Not only do they make you look slimmer, you’ll also appear taller.
10. Love your curves.

Invest in the right bra for you not only for their aesthetic use but for functional purposes as well. A brassier that’s too big or too small can cause you back pain or irritate your skin. Also, make sure that your straps are wide and comfy. Wearing the right bra doesn’t provide you better support, it also accentuates your assets and curves, making the rest of your outfit sit and look nicer. — Illustrations by Isabelle Laureta, GMA News
