Striking Stories: 'I-Witness' fans talk about their favorite documentaries

This November, "I-Witness" celebrates its 13th year of making documentaries. As GMA 7's flagship documentary program, "I-Witness" has won numerous international and local awards, including two George Foster Peabody Awards: Jessica Soho's Kidneys for Sale in 1999; and Kara David's Ambulansyang de Paa in 2010. In October this year, Kara David traveled to Seoul, South Korea to accept the prestigious UNICEF Child Rights Award for the "I-Witness" documentary Alkansya. The program is currently hosted by four of GMA's veteran journalists: Sandra Aguinaldo, Kara David, Howie Severino, and Jay Taruc. For the show's 13th Anniversary Special, each host will travel to the four corners of the Philippines to find out whether all Filipinos have access to basic services. Over the course of these 13 years, the community of "I-Witness" viewers has grown and evolved with the times. With the advent of social media, fans of the show now discuss episodes on Facebook and Twitter, and have access to web-exclusive content via the show's official website. And so we asked the online community: Which "I-Witness" documentary is most memorable to you?
