Iba’t-ibang tao. Iba’t-ibang “trip”. May nakikipaghabulan sa mga toro. May nagbibilad sa araw. May mga lumalangoy sa ilalim ng dagat. May lumilipad sa himpapawid. At mayroong mga mahilig umakyat ng bundok.
 
Matagal nang umaakyat ng bundok si Kara David. Ngayong 2013, nangako siya sa sarili na akyatin ang tuktok ng mga bundok sa iba’t-ibang parte ng mundo. Inakyat niya ang isa sa pinaka-pinupuntahang bundok sa buong mundo, ang pinakamataas na bundok ng Japan, ang Mt. Fuji. Mula Asya, nagpunta siya sa Europa, sa Greece--- sa Mt. Olympus na sinasabing tirahan ng mga Griyegong diyos.
 
Sa pagtatapos ng taon, aakyatin ni Kara David ang tuktok ng isa sa mga pinakamahirap niyang bundok, ang Mt. Apo dito sa Pilipinas. Iba’t-ibang tuktok ng bundok, iba’t-ibang lupain… isang dokumentaryong puno ng “adventure”.

Exhilaration. A feeling of excitement. Of happiness.
 
Some like to go underwater to experience exhilaration. Some run away from bulls. Some sleep by the beach, some dive the skies. And there are those who climb mountains.
 
Kara David has been climbing mountains for two decades now. For 2013, she promised herself to climb summits from different parts of the world. She trekked one of the most climbed summits in the world, Japan’s highest mountain, Mt. Fuji. Halfway around the globe, she went to mountainous Greece--- and conquered the legendary home to Greek gods, Mt. Olympus.
 
To cap her year, Kara David climbs towards a peak that has challenged her time and again--- the Philippines’ very own, Mt. Apo. Different summits, different terrains… every bit an adventure.
